Private testing: Good Old TV is an unfinished, invitation-only test operated by Robert Michael Anthony Beddow. It is not yet offered as a public or paid service.
Using the test
You may use the app, cloud service and paired TV Gadget only for lawful personal testing. Keep invitation, ownership-transfer, pairing and recovery links or codes private. Do not attempt to bypass access controls, interfere with another user or Gadget, or use the service to access content you are not entitled to watch.
Accounts and shared access
You are responsible for access to your email account and devices. Gadget owners control settings, invitations and ownership transfers. Shared users receive only the access granted by the owner. Some account recovery, deletion and physical-Gadget recovery features remain under development and will stay unavailable until they can complete safely.
Streaming services and equipment
Good Old TV controls third-party streaming websites but does not provide their content or subscriptions. You remain responsible for your streaming accounts and for complying with each provider's terms. Compatibility can change when a provider, television, browser or Raspberry Pi software changes.
Availability and testing risk
The test may contain defects, lose availability or change without notice. Do not rely on it for emergencies, safety-critical use or uninterrupted access to a television. Back up any information you cannot readily recreate. We may suspend access where needed to protect users, Gadgets or the service.
Privacy
The Privacy Policy explains what information is handled during the test. Nothing in these terms removes rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Leaving the test
You may stop using the test at any time. Contact support@goodoldtv.app for help or a data request. Account deletion and Gadget release are subject to the safety checks described in the app and Privacy Policy.
